Leslie is a special education teacher this year, in a bona fide position, not some substitute gig. She'll have her permanent NYS teacher certification by the end of the spring term, and if things fall into place for us she'd like to take the next 3+ years off to be a mom. Walt continues his research, grant writing and teaching endeavors at the University of Rochester. Leslie played on a women's softball team that won their league; a coed intramural softball team with Walt at the UofR that won their league; and plays on a competitive womens vball team on Mondays and a UofR coed team with Walt and friends on Wednesdays. Walt played men's over-30 soccer outdoor over the summer and indoor in the fall and winter, but turned 40 this year and may move 'up' to over-40 next year. Our cat Zoe has managed to lose some weight while retaining all of her spoiled-ness.
