Christmas Card 1998

Its Christmas 1998!!
Welcome to Our 1998 Christmas card

What better way than with a reflection
on our wedding and receptions.
We really enjoyed our day of celebration,
and wish to again thank everyone,
near and far,
for their thoughts and support for us
and our bright new future. Our wedding was in October,
the peak foliage season. After the festivities in CA, we headed back to NY for a 2nd reception, some touring of the area where my folks grew up, and a Rhino's championship game.

Back-in-time: we spent a couple weeks preparing the auto for the wedding festivities -- here's Leslie helping to turn it from
a hot-rod red to a cool Oregon green. We then had our honeymoon in Australia in April (and another MRI conference).

Just about a year ago Leslie got her teaching credential and now enjoys subbing.
Walt is still a post-doc at UCSD with another 6 months of AHA funding.
Next year will likely see us both treasure hunting for those elusive perfect teaching/faculty gigs.
We are again looking forward to being with our friends & family for the holidays
