Hiking Trails of Yosemite Park, FCIL Lou
(hey, in southern CA, this IS what winter looks like)

Highlights of 1996

Well the beginning of the year was marked with key familial visits by my Dad and Lorrie and my brother Norm. Gerald's steady supply of visiting friends and relations kept our place pretty full most of the time. More visits to San Diego this spring than in 7 years in Baltimore. How shocking.

Perhaps most noteworthy of that time, after many months earnestly searching, and with many people encouraging me to finally get one; I finally broke down and did it. Thus I would like to announce to all those who have not already heard, that I finally settled down with a new beauty. Yup my blue beauty is no longer. I now cruise the beaches with a new car.

(actually this isn't my car, but pretty close)

Ow ow ow (the sound of one's arm being hit repeatedly).
Oh ya, the spring also marked my very fortunate volleyball meeting with a certain lovely female, with whom, immediately after her moving >500 miles away, I began spending quit alot of quality time with :)
That would be Leslie and I in Yosemite.

Sickening, aren't we?

The summer took me to neat weddings in Kailua, Baltimore and New York City. With that Hawaii trip I think I've been to each of the 50 states, except maybe Oregon -- no loss. September brought us a very memorable trip to Yosemite with my mom and FC's Pam and Lou.
October brought us the annual pumpkin carving party, as popular as ever.

I've spent the entire year away from "where life is worth living", and I'm really looking forward to showing Leslie what a real winter is like, and seeing how much my nephews have grown!

I wish everyone a very merry holiday season
and a great New Year!
