Biographical Sketch
Dr. Ling attended Williams College and recieved a BA in Biology in 1983. In 1984, she was awarded a Certificat de Mérite from the Cordon Bleu Académie de Cuisine in Paris, France. She then went on to medical school at the University of Maryland and recieved her M.D. in 1988. At Lenox Hill Hospital, from 1988 to 1989 she was an intern. She was a resident in Radiation Oncology at Johns Hopkings Hospital in 1991 and a Chief Resident and Fellow in Radiation Oncology in 1992. From 1992 to 1994, she was an Instructor in Radiation Oncology at the Tufts University School of Medicine. She was a Visiting Scientist in 1995 to the Nuclear Research Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Ling was in Seattle from 1997 to 1999 as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington Medical Center. Since 1999 she has been an Assistnat Professor at the U of R School of Medicine and Dentistry.
