Harold Swartz, M.D., Ph.D. (Leader, Project 3), Professor and Director of Radiological Research at the Dartmouth Medical School. He is also Director of the MD/PhD Program at Dartmouth Medical School and Director of Educational Programs. He has been involved in the field of biodosimetry using ESR for over 30 years. He was Director, Biophysics Department, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (1966-1969) and Director, Department of Biological Chemistry, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (1970). Dr. Swartz has
degrees in radiobiology (University of North Carolina), biochemistry (Georgetown), and medicine (University of Illinois). He is a recipient of the Silver Medal from the International EPR Society, and a recipient of the Silver Medal from the Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
